Law Enforcement DTI Course: Sept 11-14, 2024
Budo Kai International in conjunction with Tactical Training Options will be conducting a Defensive Tactics Instructor Course for Law Enforcement personnel, Law Enforcement Defensive Tactics Instructors, Security Personnel, and Martial Arts Instructors who would like to learn new Defensive Tactics procedures for their agency, military unit or martial arts school.
Built upon the proven tactics utilized by Law Enforcement throughout the world to include Ju Jitsu, Karate, and Krav Maga taught to Israeli Defense Forces (IDF), these Master Instructors deliver the training, knowledge and insights to equip you to effectively and efficiently train others who protect and serve.
Professional training includes the Use of Force policies used around the country and how to implement them, de-escalation principles, Krav Maga and Ju Jitsu self-defense, Expandable baton, Speed and Combat Hand Cuffing Techniques, Weapon Retention (both in and outside of the holster), Defense against weapons such as knife, stick, and gun.
All Participants will receive a Defensive Tactics Instructor Certificate to take to their units in order to apply for Continuing Education Credits. Oklahoma and Texas give 40 CEC's for this course.
Uniform: Loose clothing, Khaki, Gym clothes, T shirts, etc.
Participants should bring a duty holster, handcuffs and case, expandable baton and case. (Limited sets of duty holsters available) Civilians should bring a holster, there will be handcuffs and batons available to use as well as practice weapons. No live weapons allowed in training area!

This seminar consists of training in the Okinawan Goju-Ryu art working on form, stances, Kata's, Bunkais, and Kiso Kumites (one steps).

Learn to see the self defense techniques that are already embedded within your systems Katas. The philosophy of kata and the importance of training kata and bunkai (two man kata).
Sport Karate TTT (Tactics, Techniques, and Tricks)
Sport Karate and TTTs
This seminar will train the student in proper stances, positioning, and footwork while fighting either points or Kickboxing. Additionally, the student will be trained in scoring tactics, techniques and tricks.
